Cara connects with AMS and CRM platforms to bring policy, client, and task data into one place — so AI can better support your workflows and your tools stay in sync.

How integrations work

To access integrations, click Settings at the bottom of the Cara sidebar and navigate to Integrations. You’ll see all the available integrations, as well as ones that you have already set up. When you click an integration, you’ll be prompted to enter your credentials and set up how you want Cara to sync data to your system. Cara will also periodically read certain data from the integration to keep her knowledge up to date.

How integrations are used

Cara automatically reads from and writes to integrations when needed. In addition, you can use Cara to read from and write to integrations on-demand. Here are the ways in which integrations can be used by Cara (depending on the capabilities of each integration – limitations are noted on each integration’s documentation page):
  • Cara automatically looks up and references customer information based on the incoming caller’s phone number when handling a phone call.
  • Cara automatically logs calls handled by Voice AI to your AMS or CRM, if enabled. This includes the caller’s information, call summary, transcript, and recording URL.
  • Cara automatically creates tasks from services requests created as a result of a Voice AI phone call or an Email AI thread forwarded to Cara.
  • Cara can be told to explicitly search for or summarize client information in the Copilot or Email AI.
  • Cara can be told to explicitly write tasks, notes, and documents to a particular client’s account in the Copilot or Email AI.
