The Knowledge Base scales past a handful of PDFs. Folders let you organize documents by topic, line of business, or carrier, and Priority Content lets you pin the material Cara should always consider before searching the wider corpus.

Folders

Group related documents into a folder to keep the library navigable and to scope Cara’s search when appropriate.
1

Create a folder

From the Knowledge Base, click New Folder and give it a name (e.g. “Commercial Auto”, “Carrier — Travelers”, “Onboarding”).
2

Add documents

Drag existing documents into the folder, or upload new documents directly into it. A document can live in one folder at a time.
3

Scope a search (optional)

When you prompt Cara, you can reference a folder by name — e.g. “Using only the Onboarding folder, summarize our commissions policy” — and Cara will restrict retrieval to that folder.

Priority Content

Priority Content is a per-folder (or agency-wide) list of context that Cara consults before running a general search. Two content types are supported:

Example questions

Author example prompts alongside the answers you want Cara to give. When a user asks a question that matches an example (or a paraphrase of it), Cara uses the paired answer as a strong prior. Good example questions:
  • “What’s our appetite for restaurants over $2M in revenue?” — paired with your appetite guidance.
  • “How do I bind a new home-auto bundle in California?” — paired with the step-by-step process.

Context notes

Free-form notes that Cara reads at the start of every relevant workspace. Use context notes to encode facts that don’t belong in a specific document — for example, “We do not write monoline flood,” “Our default COI holder for construction accounts is our GC template,” or “Producer license #98765 is on file.”
Priority Content is small on purpose. Keep example questions and context notes short and specific — they compete for the top of Cara’s attention. If a note is long, put it in a document and reference it from a context note.
